Fail Fall Outfit

With this outfit I have no idea what I was thinking.
I guess I wanted to wear Fall colors, like khaki and brown,
but I’m not sure if I like the outfit I put together?

You know, sometimes you buy something, and a few days later you wonder why you even bought it?
That’s how I feel about this outfit.
I think I tried too much in one look.

But you know, sometimes you have to try something,
to see if it’s going to work or not.
And the same thing goes for life.
The important thing to remember is that you have to try.

Holiday Parties

There is a lot of Holiday parties coming up this month,
so I thought I would show you what I’m going to wear.

I’m wearing my black pencil skirt. It’s classy and simple.
This skirt has been with me to a few parties before, but I find it’s a bit tighter this year.
I guess it’s time I start heading back to the gym.
I’m styling this skirt two ways, so that you can get more inspiration.

Look nr 1 :
For this look I’m wearing a thin grey jumper tucked into the pencil skirt.
I rolled up the sleeves, so it’s not too warm for an indoor party.
I’m wearing my black statement necklace to add more personality to the outfit.
On my feet in wearing my black open high heels.
I have worn these shoes to a lot of events over the years too.

Look nr 2 :
For this look I added my banana republic top. It’s a bit more fancy looking.
Then I wore the same shoes as in my last outfit, and a black blazer.
A blazer dresses up any outfit.
I think this look would work well for an office party.
It’s not to dressy, and pretty modest.

Black, Red and Green

In today’s outfit post I’m wearing an all black outfit. It’s easy and something most people already have in their wardrobe.
I’ve always felt that an all black outfit is timeless and classy.
Fun fact : The sweater I’m wearing is from the Forever 21 man section. It was on sale a few years back.

Since it’s the Holiday season, I added my statement necklace and my khaki hat. I feel like the green and gold reflects the season a bit better. I wore a red lipstick.
Red is my favorite color to wear during the Holiday Season.
I feel like a red lipstick is the only accessory you need this season.

Tasting Coffee – Thierry

This week we tried coffee at Thierry. It’s located at 1059 Alberni St.
Nearby are restaurants, shops and parking.

Thierry’s interior consists of wood and steel, giving it a mixture of old fashion and modern style.When you first walk in you will notice a circled table filled with treats. Caramels, chocolate and cookies. It’s like being inside a candy store for adults!
The music playing is loud, so after ordering we decided to sit on their outside patio.

We ordered macaroons, because Thierry is famous for them!
We also got some sugar cookies, an Americano and a latte with caramel and soy milk.
Can you guess who ordered what?

It was pretty expensive, but that is probably because we ordered macaroons and cookies.
Our coffee came in small cups, but then again they were super strong!
The strongest coffee we have had so far.


The cookies were too sugary for us.
However the macaroons tasted amazing!!!!
To be honest they are the best macaroons we have ever tried!
Pros : Amazing Macaroons
Cons : Too loud music, and too strong coffee, but that may be the true French way?


We could not finish our coffees, but we agreed that we would come back for the macaroons anyday:)

If strong coffee is your thing, you will love Thierry.
If macaroons are you thing you will love Thierry even more!
